The main goal of this project was to determine the feasibility of illuminating all walls of the store, as per the client’s initial idea. Our team conducted a thorough analysis to determine the most effective way to do this, considering options such as LED screens and other types of lighting solutions.
The project involved working with the client based preliminary architectural sketches developed through their collaboration with the previous design office. From there, several prototypes were created in different designs. The walls of the store were crafted from laser-cut edge-bent aluminium sheets with hole rasters ranging from 10mm to 35mm in diameter.
To enhance the store’s logo, our team employed a unique solution of constructing massive 40mm acrylic blocks that emit light, making the logo truly stand out on a monolithic block.
